I purchased the white cardigan to go with a white dress. When the cardigan arrived it was cream. Sent it straight back unopened, and will seriously think twice about trying to buy white again from Pure.
I didn't even take it out of the plastic. I wanted white to wear over a white dress in summer. It was clearly cream when it arrived. I really expect a clothing company to know the difference. I already have a cream Pure cardigan so didn't need another. I can therefore make no comment on size, quality etc.
This is the perfect cardigan for me. The cashmere is extremely high quality,, not like the thin cashmere you see so much of these days. I have ordered it in black and baby blue and plan to order a few more.
I hate to say it, but the lovely lilac cropped cardie I bought this past fall really does sprout pills and beginnings of pills at an accelerated rate compared to, say, my hot pink one from perhaps four years back. Are the goats staging a work-to-rule? I'm still super happy with the cropped look and the great colours, and no doubt will be buying more. But I could do without the extra work to clean up the pilling.
This is my favourite cardigan ever, but I wish it was also available with full length sleeves, maybe in the future..
I don't really have a problem with the cashmere but with the service lady I dealt with living in the U.K and U.S they did not have my size on both times I placed my order. She talked me into a small and a larger item saying I would not notice a difference. Big mistake and don't let this women do this to you, wait to the correct size comes in. I found her to be very dishonest and would say anything to make a sale.
Be warned this is a new cut and does not fit as well as the last design. It is baggy around the lower back and isn't flattering as it used to be. If I order the next sized down then it would be too tight around the bust. But if I keep this sized then it's too baggy around the back and sides. Please PURE bring back your old design.
I wear this often. Perfect shape with dresses. But I wish Pure Collection would make cropped cardigans with FULL LENGTH sleeves, as well as 3/4 length ones, for those of us who live in old houses with patchy central heating. Also can we have a cropped cardigan in Heather Rose PLEASE.
I am not sure about this cardigan. I bought a crop sweater before and was happy with the length but this one is a bit weird. The ribbed detail at the bottom sits at a weird place, highlighting my lumps and bumps and riding up when I sit down and exposing a significant portion of my back... The amber colour is actually a dark mustard and not the vibrant yellow that you see on the picture. I got it on sale and it matches a pair of shoes I have trouble styling, so I will keep it but I wouldn't have paid full time on this.
Despite the shape/sizing change this garment suits me well
I love these cardigans but they have definitely changed the design and sizing
I have many Pure cropped cardigans but I am very disappointed by the recent changes made to the style and the cashmere. The ribbing, buttons and shape have changed and as a result I will not be buying any more. In addition to this, there is a notable change to the quality of the cashmere used, I thought this might improve after washing but unfortunately this was not the case.
What has happened to the design of this cropped cardigan?? I've got about five in different colours and have been waiting for a bright pink or orange version to be available so jumped on the vivid coral this year. It's just arrived and I'm so disappointed. Firstly, it doesn't have the softness of the usual Pure cashmere - it could be a light Merino wool. Secondly, the design has been updated but not in a good way! So the sleeves are about 5cm shorter, just below the elbow rather than bracelet length, and they no longer have a rib at the bottom so they are not as comfortable. Also, there are now only 7 buttons rather than the previous 10, so the cardigan gapes when done up. It feels like a cost-cutting exercise, I buy a lot of cashmere from Pure so I really hope this type of 'updating' isn't echoed across the whole range.
Still not sure about tis cardigan. Becasue of the lurex thread feels quite 'scratchy' on the arms but a silk shirt worn underneath helps. The pattern is lovely - different and a little quirky. Looks terrific with black jeans.
I love this cardigan, it is great for the Spring, Summer and Autumn. I have it in three colours and would buy in more colours. I would love it in hot pink.
